GENETICS SERVICES
TVL, in collaboration with its testing partners, provides a comprehensive menu of genetic and ancillary testing to aid physicians in the diagnosis and management of genetic disorders and neoplasia. These include cytogenetic diagnostics, over 100 FISH assays, fetal risk screening, and molecular genetics and infectious disease testing. In addition, PAML offers genetic consultative services to help with questions your staff or physicians may have regarding ordering and sending out all types of genetic tests.

A Focus on Local Testing
Enhanced levels of local testing are the result of TVL’s community-based testing initiative. Now, not only are the clear majority of tests performed in-state, but in addition, many esoteric tests typically sent out to another part of the country are performed in the region at PAML’s Spokane-based esoteric testing center. Local testing is performed by SARMC in Boise.

Same-Day Testing
TVL offers Boise’s only rapid-response testing service. Results for many commonly-ordered tests received by noon are reported by 5:00 PM that afternoon.

Contrary to the national labs, TVL’s commitment to our area means that laboratory testing, jobs, and revenues remain in the region.
