About

Treasure Valley Lab has been a joint venture between Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML) since 1999. On May 4, 2017 LabCorp completed its acquisition of PAML and Saint Alphonsus will be completing its acquisition of PAML's interest in TVL no later than November 4, 2017. At that time TVL will be wholly owned by Saint Alphonsus Health System.

Our services are designed to supply accurate and diagnostically meaningful test results, as well as the highest quality of customer service and satisfaction. Our commitment to accuracy, reliability and efficiency makes TVL a respected choice for quality clinic diagnostics.

The rapid turnaround times delivered by TVL's hospital-based laboratories and advanced physician connectivity, logistics and client service support products for which TVL is well-known will enhance the delivery of laboratory services available to physicians in Idaho and Oregon.

This consolidation also provides clinicians and their patients with:

  • More extensive local testing menu
  • Streamlined ordering and results reporting
  • Expanded testing schedule
  • Advanced IT products and services
  • Answers when you need them

To better serve our physicians and their patients, TVL operates a network of Patient Service Centers throughout southern Idaho and eastern Oregon.

COMMUNITY-BASED HEALTHCARE

Like you, TVL believes in community-based healthcare, in fostering the economic health of the communities where we do business, and in keeping healthcare jobs, brain power, financial resources, and decision-making where patients live.

The people you will be dealing with at TVL are people you know. They are members of the community, with a vested interest in ensuring continuity of laboratory testing services at the local level.

COMPLIANCE

To ensure strict legal and ethical compliance, TVL has a formal compliance program in place. The program covers billing to Federal and State-funded programs, risk management, and compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
